On Monday, July 20, 2026, the Denver Recreation Board and Denver Borough Council held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Denver Community Pool Pickleball Court and Pathway.  The capital improvement project was funded through a grant by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and Borough match monies and included the installation of a new 34’ X 64’ paved pickleball court; a paved ADA parking space; a 5-feet wide ADA-accessible macadam pathway connecting the parking space to the court; a ¼ mile macadam perimeter loop trail; nine (9) security cameras and a DVR recording system; 175-feet of 6-feet high chain link fence with an accessible access gate; 2 park benches; 1 trash receptacle; 4 shade trees; and 3 signs including a project sign.  The pickleball court and pathway are open to residents daily from dawn to dusk.
