PennDOT Lancaster County Maintenance is planning on repairing the depression on the shoulder of SR 272 Reading Road at the SR1040 Colonel Howard Boulevard intersection in East Cocalico Township on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.  It is anticipated that the work will take one (1) day to complete. 

PennDOT will be monitoring the weather for temperature and precipitation.  If needed, they have reserved Thursday, November 5, 2026 and Friday, November 6, 2026 as tentative backup dates.  This is all pending approval from the hauling permit department.  Should weather become an issue and PennDOT cannot complete the work on any of the dates provided, they will need to reassess the next course of action.
