The Borough of Denver has received grant funding from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to hire a consultant to work with stakeholders from the Borough to complete the Denver Borough Strategic Revitalization Plan. This Plan will be used to guide upgrades to the Main Street streetscapes, landscapes, signage, lighting, crosswalks, trails, civic spaces, and architectural facades while creating redevelopment strategies to prepare for changes to industrial and institutional sites within the Borough.

The planning process has begun, and the Steering Committee is asking Borough residents, business owners, employers, and visitors to provide input to improve Denver Borough by completing the online survey. The survey takes about eight (8) minutes to complete and can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the form below or clicking here.

Please take a couple minutes to complete the survey and help guide the future of the Business District in Denver Borough.

UPDATE: BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED SATURDAY 2/14/26

On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the Borough experienced a leak on the six (6) inch water main on the 100-block of Fausnacht Drive. The leak impacted a total of 33 residential properties, 27 on Fausnacht Drive and six (6) on Jefferson Avenue. The Borough’s Public Works Department shut the water off in the area and repaired the broken six (6) inch water main. When the repair was finished, the Borough flushed the water system to re-establish the disinfectant residuals. The Borough also will sample the finished water to confirm compliance with all potable water regulations.

Properties impacted by the Boil Water Advisory were issued a notice at their front door. Once the required testing of the water is complete, the Borough will notify the property owners when the Boil Water Advisory will be lifted. If you have any questions, please contact the Denver Borough Municipal Building at 717-336-2831. Thank you!
