The Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit is a rolling exhibition that brings the local community, veterans,
active-duty military and their families together through interactive exhibits, short films, and shared stories. The exhibit serves as a mobile museum, educating visitors about the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes as well as to serve as an official ‘welcome home’ station for our nation’s Vietnam Veterans. All veterans, active-duty military, their families, and the local community members are invited and encouraged to visit, take a tour and speak with WAA representatives and volunteers. They can also share more about the national nonprofit, and the work its volunteers do to support our heroes and their communities year-round.

Public tours for the MEE are free and open to the public! Members of the media, dignitaries, veterans and other interested groups are urged to come, ask questions, share stories and experience this one-of-a-kind exhibit.

The United State Department of the Treasury/Internal Revenue Service has made the Borough aware that IRS field agents may be in the Borough to visit certain residents or businesses related to their federal taxes. The Borough has been informed that individuals or businesses will typically receive a letter in the mail informing them of an upcoming IRS visit and very few “cold calls” occur. This is a regional effort, and Denver Borough is among many municipalities receiving this information.

If you are visited and you cannot verify the IRS employee’s identity, you are encouraged to contact the East Cocalico Police Department at 717-336-1725.

You can find more information about this on the IRS website: https://www.irs.gov/help/how-to-know-its-the-irs

PSAB’s Government Affairs Department needs your help to defeat this legislation.
Please contact your State Senator, Christopher Gebhard, to let him know that SB 1150 would make borough governance less efficient and cost borough’s additional taxpayer funds to advertise additional special meetings.

The Borough of Denver has received grant funding from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to hire a consultant to work with stakeholders from the Borough to complete the Denver Borough Strategic Revitalization Plan. This Plan will be used to guide upgrades to the Main Street streetscapes, landscapes, signage, lighting, crosswalks, trails, civic spaces, and architectural facades while creating redevelopment strategies to prepare for changes to industrial and institutional sites within the Borough.

The planning process has begun, and the Steering Committee is asking Borough residents, business owners, employers, and visitors to provide input to improve Denver Borough by completing the online survey. The survey takes about eight (8) minutes to complete and can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the form below or clicking here.

Please take a couple minutes to complete the survey and help guide the future of the Business District in Denver Borough.

Please consider donating to our cause, which is tax-deductible. You can scan the QR code, drop off the donation at the Denver Borough building, or mail a check made out to Denver Memorial Park and send it to 539 Elm St., Denver, PA 17517.
